Feb. Kiddie Kandid photos

This picture is SOOOOOO cute! (Just imagine it with the sides cropped!!!)

Here are the photos we had taken at Kiddie Kandids. CUTE! I didn't have Michael's individual photo done because he got to do school pictures, but Luke was almost 4, and Brynley was 10 1/2 months old in these pictures - Michael had just turned 6.

Catching up!!!

Well, these past few months have been INSANE! Brynley was really sick with ear infections (they just kept coming back!) And she had ear tubes placed on Feb 14th. Michael and luke still LOVE school, and I had a little harder time this last term trying to keep up. I was able to keep up with Anatomy and Physiology, but ended up withdrawing from my development class due to all the assignements and reading I hadn't started yet with Brynley being so sick! But, I think it was a good decision because the W on my transcript is much better than a C - or even a failing grade! Next term I will be staying in Baker to take A & P at the BMCC community center in town. I'll retake development from another community college because they dont' offer it here this term. So I will be back up to 9 credits again. Brynley is like a totally different kid! Now that she feels better she has put on weight (she's getting chunky!) and she's babbling a lot more, and is getting more steady on her feet. She still is a little lazy with the walking though - if she doesn't want too, she won't! It will probably be a couple months before we actually see her take her first steps on her own. That's fine with me! It's been nice having her so stationary for so long! She's developing quite the little personality too. She's also working on 4 teeth at once - all on top, so lately she's been our little bulldog. At least that's the face that she makes! :o) Here's a bunch of pictures to help catch everyone up on what we've been up too. We've had birthday's for michael (6) and luke (4) and Brynley's is coming up on the 6th of April. Now that things have calmed down a bit - maybe I can keep up on this blog - especially for those friends/family that we don't see often enough!!!

Sledding and Christmas - the boys had a BLAST sledding! Brynley came down with ANOTHER ear infection the day before so she was only able to be outside for a few minutes, and I don't think she really enjoyed even those few minutes! Below.. Luke at his "Art" Debut at Crossroads. They featured Luke's preschool's artwork for the month of January!! Here is Luke and his "honey" also. He has the cutest little "girlfriend!!!" Her name is Naomi. There is a picture of Brynley with her first taste of cool whip, and her with her first little flower hair clip. I should have discovered these hair clips LONG ago! They are so cute!! She was only a couple days out of being really sick this time - she had just lost 1 lb, and she is pretty pale - but it was still a cute picture! Plus I wanted to try out the new clips!

OK... now onto February. We had Michael's birthday party. He wanted a STAR WARS theme.. so that's what he got! Here's some pics from the party - also one of Brynley kissing her cousin Aysia. There's just something about those two! Brynley loves to kiss aysia! I love the picture of luke just sitting so patient and quiet as Michael opens presents! Here's a picture of Brynley all dressed up - in her cute little heart jumper. She loves to pose for the camera. I will post more pictures and get into what's up for march later tonight. We also had kiddie kandids pictures again the end of Feb. So I will post those too - I had a pic of all three kids that is just TOO adorable!

ARGH LUKE!!

Luke decided that him and michael needed to switch hair colors the other day. I walked in and he was cutting his own hair - and had already cut michaels. He said that he wanted to put his hair on michael. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! Their hair had to be cut a little shorter than I like it to be and luckily from the front you can hardly tell - it's the top that isn't looking so hot! Here's a couple of "before" pictures. Good thing they are boys - their hair is kept short anyway. Now if this had been my baby girl with beautiful long locks I think I would have had a nervous breakdown! Oh - and did I mention that Luke got in the medicine cabinet about a week before that and washed my contacts down the drain? All before I had a chance to get out of bed! That kid.. what are we going to do with him!!!

NEW PHOTOS!

Here is Michael's VERY FIRST school photo! What a big cheese! We just finally got school pictures back. The first time around, the teacher did not find his order form in the back pack, so although he got them taken, there was no order - therefore no pictures sent home!! So we made sure on retake day that he was able to get them taken this time! Such a cutie! He's doing really well in school and just loves his teacher and all the kids.

Here are some photos from Brynley's 7 month pictures - which was last month. It's been a crazy month - all of the family has been sick at one time or another. Brynley has been sick nearly the entire month. At a doctor visit around the time she turned 7 months, she weighed 15 lbs even and was 24 1/2 inches long. Still just a little tiny thing! She had just cut her second tooth 2 days before these pictures. (Pictures are from kiddie kandids). Now today she is 8 months old, and weighs 15 lbs 2 oz - with all of the sickness and not eating well she hasn't gained hardly any weight. The doc decided she isn't getting enough milk so he wants us to switch her to formula - hopefully this will help! poor thing! Now at 8 months she is finally starting to TRY and go for things just out of reach. She can sit up well, but hasn't figured out how to crawl yet. (FINE WITH ME!!! :o) She loves to eat cereal and any table foods that she sees us eating. I think she just likes to "chew"! So cute. She is still a pretty big mama's girl - but she is getting better. She loves her brothers and they can be as abnoxious as they want and she will still flash them the biggest smile, or even manage to giggle. She has finally figured out the jumperoo - but jumps very carefully. She definately doesn't like to play rough. I will try to get a picture of her today - she's still not feeling well and is pretty cranky, but we'll see how it goes!

It's raining LEAVES!!!

The big tree outside of our house has been losing its leaves like crazy, so we thought we'd set up a little photo shoot of the kids! It's still way hard to get all 3 happy and smiling in the picture at the same time! They boys had a lot of fun jumping in the huge pile, and burying each other. Here's a few of the many (ok.. about 70) pictures I took a few hours ago. It's nice to have digital because I know instantly if my photos have turned out, and if not - I just keep taking more!

OH! Brynley got her first tooth on friday! HOORAY! Her second one won't be too far behind, as she's still pretty grumpy! Hopefully it will break through and we can get this over with!

Michael's soccer season has come to an end so I thought I would share a couple of cute photos of him. Michael is SOO funny when he gets a goal. He gets SO excited, jumps up and down and gives us the big thumbs up! It is so cute! The picture of him with the huge grin is from right after scoring a goal, and the one of him jumping is just after that. My cousin said if there was a penalty for "excessive celebration" he'd definatley get it! He is pretty fast and extremely energetic. He is finally old enough to start grasping the concept of defense. Even luke will yell from the sidelines "Get in there michael" or "GO MICHAEL" it is SO cute!

HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY BRYNLEY!!!

Brynley is 6 months today! It has been hard trying to teach the boys how old she is - when she's not even a year! So today when we got up I told them that Brynley was 1/2 today! Michael thought it was pretty funny!! She was weighed and measured wednesday and she was 14 lbs 4 oz, and 24 1/4 inches long. That puts her in the 5th percentile for height and 10th for weight! Such a little shorty! She is getting to be tons of fun, with lots and lots of personality. She has been trying out different sounds lately. A couple weeks ago it was a really deep low voice, and this week it has been a scream! The boys can always make her giggle - especially Michael! She's still as lazy as ever. She knows how to roll in both directions, but just doesn't care to do so! We have a jumperoo for her, but she hasn't quite figured that one out yet. She loves to be upright and held facing AWAY from you so she can see what all is going on. She is still a huge mama's girl, but we're working on that! She is still a great sleeper as well. She taked 3-4 naps a day and her bedtime is usually 7-7. She does still wake up twice within that time to eat - but over all I can't complain because she sleeps quite a bit!

Lil' Daredevil!

About a month ago we took Luke's training wheels off. He is amazing on that little Bike, his little bike - with those little legs going as fast as they can!! At only 3 1/2 - and he's only been riding a bike since may or june of this year. He is such a little dare devil too - before we took off the training wheels he was trying to pop wheelies! We told luke that once he got "good" at riding his old bike, we'd buy him his own NEW bike! He's so proud of his bike!

I"m still getting used to this new camera - Michael loves posing for me. he is SO photogenic! I was just messing around and was luck to catch such a cute picture! I love his smile in this picture!

Brynley has been a good sport about me snapping photos of her all the time. These are definately not the best quality of photos - since I was playing with different settings, but they definately show her personality. She is finally getting the hang of eating.. but only if I add some flavor! no plain cereal for her! So far she's had applesauce, squash and tonight we tried bananas - and she HATED them! Maybe she'll like the real ones better. Last night I gave her a piece of watermelon to suck on and she absolutely loved it - i think it also felt good on her gums to have something so cold!

Check back later this week and we'll post some soccer pictures of Michael!!
