Michael started his first t-ball season yesterday. It started off with a parade at 8am that went all the way from Geiser Pollman park clear to Wade Williams field! I can't believe those little guys walked that far! They had them circle the Baseball field as their team was announced then the national anthem was sung, and it was time to "PLAY BALL!" Luckily it didn't rain on Michael's game, but the rest of the teams weren't so lucky. It rained all afternoon, starting with the last 5 minutes of Michael's game. Michael did pretty good! All the kids at this age still think that they ALL have to fight for the ball once its hit. There is no concept of "STAY at your base!" There are so many t-ball teams this year that he didn't end up on one with any of his friends, but he is making lots of new friends! Here's a few pictures from the day. There will be many more as the season goes on i'm sure! (Oh - and the coach gave Luke his own hat and shirt as well! He is SO proud, but bummed that he doesn't get to play with the team. They do let him practice though and they let him walk in the parade).

Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter! Today we went to church in our ward in Baker, then the "easter bunny" visited while we were at church, so the kids walked in the
door to see their easter baskets by the fireplace. Then we went over to La Grande to go to sacrament in third ward, dinner and an egg hunt at "papa & grandma pam's" I tried to get a decent picture of the kids all dressed up, but I forgot that Brynley hates the feel of grass and when I went to sit her down on the grass in front of her brothers she screamed and well, it was all over. I couldn't even sit her on a blanket after that!!
As you can see from the picture - she is VERY upset! Plus it was very bright and just a bad time of day and spot for a good picture. There are also a few photos here from the egg hunt in the backyard, and a really cute picture of brynley discovering some flowers on the back porch!

Happy First Birthday BRYNLEY!!!
Well, Brynley turned ONE yesterday! At her check-up on tuesday she weighed 18 1/2 lbs and was still only 26 inches long. Such a little girl! I think she's going to take after her mommy. :o) She still isn't walking yet, and YES - she still does the one-foot up crawl. It seems to work well for her, so she sees no reason to change! She did take a couple of really quick steps tonight though. We'll see how it goes - she'll probably walk within a month or so. She could do it if she wanted to - she is definately steady enough. She just doesn't like to do something she is unsure about. We had a princess birthday for her and she definately was the star of the show! She got lots of neat "girly" things and had a lot of fun. Here are some photos from her party.

Lil' Bulldog!
Luke's 4th Birthday Party
Here are some pics from Luke's 4th Birthday - it's kind of been a month long celebration! Aunt Annie came home a week before his birthday so we had the family party early, then he had his first "friend" party a couple days before his real birthday, then we took a treat to school! He actually asked me if it was still his birthday yesterday! He wanted to have a curious george party. The boys like to look through the party catalogs when they come in the mail, and he made up his mind MONTHS ago that he wanted curious george! He is definately like curious george - very mischevious, and curious!!

Brynley Pics
Here is Brynley's first little pig tail! Since her bangs are so much longer than the rest of her hair, they were really start to get in her face. Sometimes the pig tail really goes wild and sticks straight up - it's really hard to get it perfect the first time when she's so squirmy!
Here's one of Brynley eating her first powdered donut - she LOVED it! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the first bite. She shoved the donut in her mouth and bit half of it off! These pictures were taken March 7th and 8th - she was just barely 11 months old.

Feb. Kiddie Kandid photos
This picture is SOOOOOO cute! (Just imagine it with the sides cropped!!!)

Here are the photos we had taken at Kiddie Kandids. CUTE! I didn't have Michael's individual photo done because he got to do school pictures, but Luke was almost 4, and Brynley was 10 1/2 months old in these pictures - Michael had just turned 6.
Catching up!!!
Well, these past few months have been INSANE! Brynley was really sick with ear infections (they just kept coming back!) And she had ear tubes placed on Feb 14th. Michael and luke still LOVE school, and I had a little harder time this last term trying to keep up. I was able to keep up with Anatomy and Physiology, but ended up withdrawing from my development class due to all the assignements and reading I hadn't started yet with Brynley being so sick! But, I think it was a good decision because the W on my transcript is much better than a C - or even a failing grade! Next term I will be staying in Baker to take A & P at the BMCC community center in town. I'll retake development from another community college because they dont' offer it here this term. So I will be back up to 9 credits again. Brynley is like a totally different kid! Now that she feels better she has put on weight (she's getting chunky!) and she's babbling a lot more, and is getting more steady on her feet. She still is a little lazy with the walking though - if she doesn't want too, she won't! It will probably be a couple months before we actually see her take her first steps on her own. That's fine with me! It's been nice having her so stationary for so long! She's developing quite the little personality too. She's also working on 4 teeth at once - all on top, so lately she's been our little bulldog. At least that's the face that she makes! :o) Here's a bunch of pictures to help catch everyone up on what we've been up too. We've had birthday's for michael (6) and luke (4) and Brynley's is coming up on the 6th of April. Now that things have calmed down a bit - maybe I can keep up on this blog - especially for those friends/family that we don't see often enough!!!
Sledding and Christmas - the boys had a BLAST sledding! Brynley came down with ANOTHER ear infection the day before so she was only able to be outside for a few minutes, and I don't think she really enjoyed even those few minutes! Below.. Luke at his "Art" Debut at Crossroads. They featured Luke's preschool's artwork for the month of January!! Here is Luke and his "honey" also. He has the cutest little "girlfriend!!!" Her name is Naomi. There is a picture of Brynley with her first taste of cool whip, and her with her first little flower hair clip. I should have discovered these hair clips LONG ago! They are so cute!! She was only a couple days out of being really sick this time - she had just lost 1 lb, and she is pretty pale - but it was still a cute picture! Plus I wanted to try out the new clips!
OK... now onto February. We had Michael's birthday party. He wanted a STAR WARS theme.. so that's what he got! Here's some pics from the party - also one of Brynley kissing her cousin Aysia. There's just something about those two! Brynley loves to kiss aysia! I love the picture of luke just sitting so patient and quiet as Michael opens presents!

Here's a picture of Brynley all dressed up - in her cute little heart jumper. She loves to pose for the camera. I will post more pictures and get into what's up for march later tonight. We also had kiddie kandids pictures again the end of Feb. So I will post those too - I had a pic of all three kids that is just TOO adorable!

ARGH LUKE!!
Luke decided that him and michael needed to switch hair colors the other day. I walked in and he was cutting his own hair - and had already cut michaels. He said that he wanted to put his hair on michael. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! Their hair had to be cut a little shorter than I like it to be and luckily from the front you can hardly tell - it's the top that isn't looking so hot! Here's a couple of "before" pictures. Good thing they are boys - their hair is kept short anyway. Now if this had been my baby girl with beautiful long locks I think I would have had a nervous breakdown! Oh - and did I mention that Luke got in the medicine cabinet about a week before that and washed my contacts down the drain? All before I had a chance to get out of bed! That kid.. what are we going to do with him!!!
