Tomato Soup

So this is what I get for leaving out a mostly empty pot of soup! When she got caught, she said "YUMMY... SOUP!!" She didn't care that she had on a white shirt! (luckily I got the stains out!)

Lost tooth #2

BEFORE

10 days ago, this was BY FAR the most dramatic pulled tooth yet! Michael knocked it even looser during basketball, then again while brushing teeth. He came to me because it was literally just hanging there.. but attached enough that it wouldn't just fall out. Rather than having him choke on it in the middle of the night, I gave him 5 minutes to pull it on his own, then I went in after it. (Dad is definately not into teeth pulling!)Once he realized there was blood, and the little twinge of pain from the tooth being messed with, he got pretty upset! I hope they get easier for him! He's got 2 more loose already!

AFTER

Look mom - I touched the snow!

FINALLY! Brynley actually likes the snow now! Today we went out for about an hour and a half and Brynley actually the snow and even threw some snowballs at me (with the prompt from Luke of course!)

Where Oh Where have all the binky's gone?

Since she only gets her binky while sleeping I guess she feels the need to stash some away in case of emergency! little stinker!

Bathing Beauty

Brynley just loves her bath - and it's so easy to get pics of her because she's confined to a small area! No running off! These are two of my favorites out of the bunch I took on Dec. 4th.

Snow Fun

With our first REAL snow the kids were SO excited to try out all their snow gear... well except for Brynley. She was terrified of the snow and wouldn't even stand next to it! It was hard enough to get her to stand on the sidewalk and watch her brothers play in it! I think Michael has made snow angels EVERY day at school since it snowed!

YMCA Basketball

November was filled with YMCA basketball! This was Michael's first Basketball season and Steven decided to coach. The lighting in the gym is horrible, so we really could get many good shots. Brynley was a great "cheerleader" with a uniform to match the part. She would clap her hands and yell "GO MICHAEL!" Luke wasn't too into the whole spectator thing, but he did like the couple of times he got to help keep score! Like the other sports that Michael has been involved in, he is so energetic and full of excitement for anyone that makes a basket - even the other team! This is definately his sport because it keeps him moving the entire time!

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween was so much fun this year! The boys loved getting TONS Of candy and Brynley even figured out that if she held out her bucket, she'd get some candy! All she had to do was stand there and look cute! (And boy was she cute!) We dressed her up as Minnie Mouse and the boys were both Skeletens (Luke told me he wanted to be a "Bone Man" after seeing a skeleten costume in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog) We ended up purchasing Gymboree's Gymmies for $10 each! Can't beat that price for a costume that doubles as jammies!

October Happenings

October was a busy month filled with leaves and pumpkins! We were able to visit a pumpkin patch in La Grande and spent many afternoons raking (and jumping) in the leaves! of course this poses a great photo op, so I took advantage and took photos of the kids in the leaves!

I just love these photos!

When we got around to actually carving the pumpkins, the kids weren't too sure about touching the pumpkin "guts" but they eventually got into it! They were pretty bummed when the time came to toss them out! But it had to be done, they were getting pretty gross!

Check out my Slide Show!

Catching up on 2007

I thought I would post a little slide show to help me "catch" up for the past 6 months. Here's what we've been up to between June and September! Enjoy! (There will be more to come as I have a few minutes!) I figured since I announced in the Christmas Card that there is a blog, I better hurry and get it updated!!

Meeting new baby cousin - AMELIA!

We were suprised with a visit from Adam and Anne (Steven' brother and his wife) in the beginning of June. A death in her family brought them this way, and we were so excited to meet the newest cousin - Ameila! the boys just LOVED holding her - everyone wanted to hold her. She's such a sweet baby!

Mmmm.. chocolate donut!!

Brynley's first chocolate covered donut! I think she liked it!!! he he he

Trampoline Fun

It was really hot this day - so we decided to stick a sprinkler under the trampoline and let the kids have fun! They loved it! It was a great way to cool off! While Brynley's legs were exposed in her swim suit I just HAD To take a picture of her cute little chubby legs! I love that roll right behind her knee! She has definately made up for any weight she didn't gain or lost! I love baby chub!

Two Piggies!

i finally decided to try and get 2 piggies in Brynley's hair. So cute! Except she's at the really obnoxious stage where she's always pulling her "pretties" out of her hair! She knows exactly what she's doing too - because she watches me the entire time she pulls them out! She looks really silly with only one piggie and her hair going crazy out the other side! I've been having a lot of fun making little clippies for her hair. These ones were my favorite out of the little flowers. Can you believe how long her hair is getting - and so quickly too! She was getting pretty tired of me snapping photos though - here's one of her getting upset! WHAT A FACE!! (now if only I could edit out that runny nose! whoops!)

Gone Fishin'

Here's the boys memorial day weekend fishin at the cabin. They fish weren't really biting at this point though - but they did have fun! I wasn't really thinking about the camera too much.. but there's as couple others of them as well. brynley was always asleep when i finally thought to get out the camera! They really enjoyed letting off fireworks and making S'mores as well!

First run through the Sprinkler!

Here's a couple of pics of Brynley running through the Sprinkler - it was soo cute! The sprinkler was hitting the sidewalk in front of our house and she would just walk back and forth letting it hit her in the face and squealing with delight! Who would have known she's like that cold cold water! (it really wasn't a super warm day either!) She has really come out of her shell these past few months. Finally feeling better and getting into everything! She's getting quite the personality! may 26
